Our Place at the Beach 7

Benchmark provides great rental properties- this is our 3rd year utilizing their properties. Easy booking, property is exactly as pictured.

This property and OC stay was everything we hoped for and more. My husband and I and our 4 children LOVED this home, the perfectly peaceful colors and beautiful decor, the gorgeous bay view and accessibility to pool. There was plenty of room for us to stretch out but also cozy corners for us to gather together and spend time as a family. The little details like kids dishes and use of pots and pans were helpful. Everything was very clean and property owner was very responsive although once we arrived there was truly nothing we needed. You have to drive to boardwalk and find parking but it was worth it. Looking forward to coming back for sure!

Our stay was wonderful. Everything was as it appeared in pictures and as described in other positive reviews. We could have walked to the beach, but we had a lot of stuff to carry, so we just literally drove up the block and parked at the municipal lot for a nominal fee.The section of the beach is the quieter section, so not overly active/rowdy like the boardwalk area. The pool was large, clean, and life guard attended. Just note that it closes at 7:00, so plan accordingly. Entry to the property was easy and it was close to all kinds of food options and a couple of nice-sized grocery stores. Would definitely stay there again.

The place is very nice inside with a great view! Only problems we had were ants all over the counter/ tables when we arrived, I sent a message to benchmark and within the hour they dropped off some ant spray. Also the tvs aren’t app tvs and they had only the news channels. Rainy days or before bed would have been nice to watch some tv to fall asleep to, we would definitely stay here again. Just hope they upgrade the tbs to app tbs so you can atleast log into Netflix or prime.

Overall we had a great time. We have stayed in OPATB previously but in another unit. This unit was updated, clean, and very close to the pool. The porch is turned into extra living space, which was quite cozy and provided a spectactular view of the bay. My only criticism is that it could use a few more areas to sit (the built in is not very comfortable) and the doors / screens could be a bit easier to open/close. The ability to not open the doors to expose the screens takes away a bit of the fun of being outside in this area. The TV is also hard to use. Aside from those minor invonveniences, the unit is immaculate and we had a great time.

We have leased at OPB for years. We were very satisfied with this unit.

The only issue was the porch screen and limited use of the TV.

We could not open the porch screen. The porch was very nice but the porch screen was not properly installed or was missing a section. When open it let in all the flying insects (flies/mosquitoes).

On bad weather days when you have to stay in the TV did not offer the basic cable options (local Network, ESPN, National News, TBS, Lifetime, etc..) Directions need to be provided on how to work the appliances (TV, microwave, stove). You want your renters to use properly so there is less maintenance and replacement cost needed for the equipment.

Other then these 2 items we would highly recommend

The condo was absolutely beautiful and clean! We really enjoyed the location to the beach, it was a short walk for our family. There were no issues with accessing the condo at our check-in time. The check-in/out instructions made it very easy to know what was expected. We would absolutely book again for future stays!

Amazing. The view of the bay is amazing. We have stayed in many places on both sides and this was by far the most amazing view. So peaceful and calming. Condo was nicely furnished, beautiful decor. The showers were amazing. The sofa sleeper mattress was not great but the beds were comfy. OPATB is our favorite location and this condo was the best yet. It was quiet and easy to get to with close, ample parking and only a few stairs to get to it. We enjoyed the beach, restaurants, arcades, golf, Jolly Roger and shopping. Ropewalk, Bad Monkey, Albertino’s, Dumser’s, Dough Roller and Bayside Skillet were all great. Food and atmosphere. Benchmark is great to work with. Great communication and attentive if you need them.

Second stay here and will continue to come back. Great view, comfy beds, and nicely decorated. We had a great time.

The place was very clean and well kept. We had a great view and the property was in a great location to all activities. I would recommend it to others. A few suggestions would be to replace the queen mattress in the bedroom as there was very little support on the one side. Also night lights in the bedrooms for safety since it is dark and a ceiling fan in the second bedroom. We loved the rocking chairs. But overall the place was awesome and I would vacation here again in the future. Dining and restaurants were great. Thank you for the use of your vacation home, it was fantastic!!

This condo was so cute and perfect! It was super clean and had everything you could need. The beds were comfy. Can't comment on the pull out, we preferred our own cot instead. The resident squirrel outside the balcony kept us entertained. The staff were so nice and easy to work with, even when I was dumb and didn't check my spam folder. Close to a lot of things and easy to get to. Highly recommend!

Great view, relaxing very clean and updated. The staff was great and responsive.

This was a very spacious condo. Really nice with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

Parking was convenient pool was amazing. The pictures of the condo did not disappoint exactly what they showed. Enjoyed staying there felt like home.

Everything was just as pictured. We arrived in time to see the wonderful sunset over the bay! The property was very clean with great decor. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen contained everything we needed. The management responded quickly to email communications. Will definitely be renting this property again.

This rental was perfect. Benchmarks communications with us were timely and their instructions clear. Response to any questions or issues were great. The rental was everything we needed for our vacation. The view of the bay marsh fantastic. It was located out of the busy areas of ocean city but close enough that going anywhere was a breeze. Would definitely come back to this cozy, clean home away from home again!! Rhonda was great!
