****Important**** A Linen & Towel Package is included for all rentals between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend only. The package includes linens for all the beds and sleeper sofa, where applicable, as well as towel sets equal to max occupancy, a bathmat for each full bathroom and 2 kitchen towels. For rentals outside of that timeframe, guests will need to bring their own or we have a rental option upon request.
This beautiful 2 BR 2 BA unit with Bay views. There are nicely painted walls throughout, with warm color tones that are reminiscent of a high-end hotel. There are tasteful furnishings in the living room, dining area and both bedrooms, including a TV in the living room and a wonderful sleeper sofa couch with a memory foam mattress. The owner has also done an excellent job of tastefully decorating the unit throughout. There is a washer/dryer in the unit along with Wi-Fi. Last, but not least are those relaxing bay views that will be waiting for you at the end of your fun filled day!
The Makai is known for its many great amenities such as the indoor pool, sauna, billiards room and gym. The Makai is conveniently located to the beach (1.5 blocks), Convention center (2 blocks) and Seacrets (3 blocks). You are also strategically located to enjoy numerous restaurants, the world-famous boardwalk, Jolly Roger's Amusement Park, miniature golf, jet skis and much more!

THINGS TO KNOW:
* Contactless check-in process. No waiting in line for a key.
*This is a non-smoking/non-vaping unit.
* Sorry no pets allowed.
* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends.
* This condo is on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator.
* Two uncovered parking spots are provided. Trailers allowed during special events with prior registration.
* The indoor pool, billiards room and sauna are open year-round.
(We cannot control when any amenity closes due to an emergency or for standard maintenance.)
* Quick access to the beach.
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 43rd street.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
* No extra stop at a separate office location required. Guests will receive complete check-in information via email prior to arrival.
* TV's can be a combo of cable and/or streaming. TV viewing options are chosen by the property owner.
* The sleep total of 6 is the maximum occupancy allowed, including children and infants.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We had a few issues with broken items (lamp, coffee pot), but the property manager was amazing and super-responsive. The location was nice… close to the beach and restaurants and a nice view of the bay. I would highly recommend this place!

My mom and I decided to do a mini week in OCMD. We loved our condo! It was well maintained and super cozy, yet provided ample privacy/space when we needed it. The location is absolutely perfect! We had such a great experienxe we decided we're going to do this every year!

We had a great weekend stay at Makai 9. The unit was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Only drawback was the location directly across from elevators which made it a bit noisy, but manageable. Communication with Benchmark is always smooth and quick which is so appreciated!

Easy access to get it . I just wish the other people that were staying in other condos were more respectful. There was a cheer competition going on at the convention center on Sunday they were parking in the maikii parking lot . My oldest daughter was coming o see her sister compete and she had no where to park.
Property was clean . Walking distance to the convention center high my young daughter had a cheer competition. I would recommend staying here to anyone . I think I have a cheer mom staying cheer next year
Other then that everything else was great : I would love to stay here again

The condo was spacious & clean. Parking was easy. Most big attractions were all walkable ! The indoor swimming pool was absolutely freezing so we didn’t get to enjoy that! My only reason for giving 4/5 stars ... I thought it was really strange that there weren’t BASIC things. Like. Paper towels, tissues, dish towels, sugar? , NO GARBAGE BAGS. I’ve never had this issue with any other bnb or condo I’ve rented. A full kitchen with a keurig, not a single k cup or sugar packet!!! Thank god the mini mart is only a few blocks away, because we had to make a few runs after each discovery of what wasn’t there :))))) I left the garbage bags under the sink for the next guest. Just a little disappointing. Had I known, I would’ve brought from home.

The condo was truly everything we needed for our trip. Beds were so comfortable, couch was relaxing, view of the Bay was nice but we overlooked the other hotels pool. Not bad just weird. The only thing that could have been better was if we were able to actually swim in the pool, it was FREEZING cold.
